VOLUME 7, NUMBER 106
Wednesday, May 13, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

What would you think about part of North 13th blocked off every Friday during the summer months for a variety of fun activities? It’s an idea that went before the City Council on Monday night. The PHS boys golf team wrapped up the two-day district tournament at Tokatee. The City Council adopted cybersecurity policies after meeting in a closed session. As of yesterday, about 12% of Oregon voters have cast ballots for the primary election (the number is 12.9% in Benton County). A woman who died at age 39 in 1928 is this week’s Mount Union Stories profile. In other partner content, that tolling math doesn’t add up for the I-5 replacement bridge. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
