The Philomath News strives for fairness and accuracy in its news stories. But it’s inevitable that errors will occur from time to time for a variety of reasons.
When a story on the PN site is found to contain significant errors, readers will be informed with a correction published in an editor’s note on an updated version of the story.
Grammatical or typographical errors may be corrected without notice.
On occasion, an item in a story may technically be correct but lack appropriate details or context. On those occasions, the News may rewrite that portion of the story and add a note of clarification.
To report a correction, contact Publisher/Editor Brad Fuqua at [email protected].
