The Philomath High School softball team won its second straight game Monday with a 10-7 victory on the road over North Marion.

The Warriors (8-9 overall, 3-7 Oregon West) are scheduled to play at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Sweet Home in the third meeting of the season between the two schools.

Against North Marion, the Warriors had a dozen hits. Junior Riley Mason had a productive game at the plate by going 3 for 4 with two doubles. Junior Emily Burner finished 3 for 5. Sophomore Hailey Smith smacked a pair of doubles. Sophomore Libby Kramer reached base three times with a single and two walks.

In the circle, Smith allowed four hits and four walks with two strikeouts.
