VOLUME 7, NUMBER 105
Tuesday, May 12, 2026
Good morning, Philomath.
The latest inductees into the PHS Hall of Fame gathered Saturday with a lot of good sports memories hanging in the air. A local teen lost his life in a Kings Valley Highway crash over the weekend. The fire marshal came back with an undetermined cause of the fire that took a man’s life last week. Marys River Grange will be the site of a special bluegrass event on Wednesday. The fire department assisted with a hiker rescue at Beazell and the latest Philomath Police Log is also online. In sports, Sammy Hernandez cleared 6-6 in a track meet Saturday and most of the other sports teams were in action on Monday. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
