VOLUME 7, NUMBER 90
Wednesday, April 22, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

Philomath’s equestrian team had a big weekend and qualified several for state. We have a girls tennis feature that spotlights the two Lucys at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. In other sports, the boys tennis team split at Stayton and the boys volleyball team was a straight-set winner over Newport. The latest installment in the Mount Union Stories series features a pioneer who died in 1886. In partner news, we had a poll on the GOP primary for governor and news on consumer protection efforts. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
