Good morning, Philomath.
The city’s new public art program features four sculptures in the downtown area — two of those by Philomath artists. This feature was written by Philomath News contributor Ellie Webb-Bowen. The “Oregon Bird Man” will be in Philomath on Thursday for what looks like an entertaining and educational show. Natasha Nuño is holding a two-day camp to build confidence, strength in girls — register now to participate. The annual Northwest Youth Rodeo Association finals will be at the rodeo arena this weekend. This week’s Mount Union Stories is about Leah Crail, who died in 1915. Oregon Capital Chronicle has two interesting stories about the need to increase school spending and a lawsuit to try to protect interest payments to homeowners. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
