VOLUME 7, NUMBER 93

Good morning, Philomath.
I spent some time out at the forestry expo for middle schoolers on Friday morning, chatting with a couple of PHS graduates now working in the industry, and wrote a story out of it. Philomath High’s baseball team regrouped for a big win on Friday at Sweet Home. The latest OSP Log includes a report on a fatality near Junction City. Philomath Museum is scheduled to unveil a new exhibit today called “Centuries of Celebration.” The city’s Inclusivity Committee plans to meet Tuesday. Jane Sherwood has the latest PSSS column. In partner content, OCC visited McMinnville for a story about small businesses wary of seeing any relief through tariff reimbursements. Oh, and if you’re interested, a magazine article titled “The Newsroom Next Door” features the Philomath News and other small-town publications around Oregon. The reporter interviewed me a few months ago at my home office here in Philomath. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
