Good morning, Philomath.

The list of Heritage Tree sites in Philomath grew this week with the addition of a three-tree Douglas fir grove on North Ninth Street. The annual spring recycling event put on by the city with help from Republic Services is coming this weekend. The PHS boys volleyball team ran into a tough opponent Tuesday at Willamette Valley Christian. This week’s Mount Union Stories features a 24-year-old woman who passed away in 1889 from consumption. We have info on how you update voter registration info. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
