FRIDAY, APRIL 3
• 9:24 p.m. — Police arrested a 38-year-old Lebanon man in the 1500 block of Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis, on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended. The man was cited and released.
• 10:06 p.m. — Police warned an adult male at South 11th Street and Applegate Street about the use of fireworks.
Other calls: Police responses included a report of phone harassment at 8:40 a.m. (Applegate Street), abandoned vehicle at 2:38 p.m. (North Eighth Street) and an abandoned vehicle at 2:46 p.m. (North Eighth Street). PPD reported eight traffic stops.
SATURDAY, APRIL 4
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a repossessed vehicle at 10:11 a.m. (South 20th Street), verbal argument at 6:44 p.m. (Main Street) and a welfare check at 11:51 p.m. (College Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 8:19 p.m. (Highway 34). PPD reported 11 traffic stops.
SUNDAY, APRIL 5
• 3:41 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a stolen iPad in the 100 block of North 15th Street.
Other calls: Police responses included a report of a dog found at 8:39 a.m. (Quail Glenn Drive), dog found at 11:33 a.m. (South 29th Place) and a mental health issue at 12:46 p.m. (North 15th Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.
MONDAY, APRIL 6
• 1:19 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a cougar seen in the 600 block of Applegate Street. The officer was unable to find the cougar and the sighting was reported to the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Other calls: Police responses included a non-911 issue at 2:53 p.m. (College Street and North 17th Street) and a domestic disturbance at 8:12 p.m. (North 20th Place and College Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 8:47 a.m. (Southwest Country Club Drive and Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis). PPD reported eight traffic stops.
TUESDAY, APRIL 7
• 9:33 p.m. — Police responded to a neighborhood dispute in the 100 block of Cooper Lane involving lighting at night. Police determined no violations of municipal code.
Other calls: Police responses included a parking complaint of a travel trailer at 9:09 a.m. (Canberra Drive) and citizen contact at 2:58 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8
• 1:11 p.m. — Police responded to a complaint of trash accumulating and attracting rats in a backyard in the 3100 block of Main Street. The residence received a city ordinance notice to clean up the garbage within 30 days.
Other calls: Police responses included trespassing at 11:09 a.m. (Main Street), stake out at 12:35 p.m. (Main Street), harassment at 2:24 p.m. (Main Street) and a report of a city ordinance tall grass violation at 3:03 p.m. (Cedar Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
THURSDAY, APRIL 9
• 3:51 p.m. — Police arrested a 36-year-old Philomath man in the 100 block of North Ninth Street on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a criminal citation. The man was cited and released.
