Isabelle Muir led the Philomath High School girls golf team with a round of 96 on Monday as the Warriors competed at Mallard Creek Golf Course in Lebanon.

Muir, a senior, carded scores of 48 and 48 for her 18-hole total, finishing eighth overall in the individual standings.

Senior Shaylee May finished 16th with a 109, posting rounds of 57 and 52. Senior Avery Smith placed 25th with a 121 on rounds of 65 and 56. Junior Annaleise Brown shot a 128 to place 34th, and fellow senior Marlee Quetschke finished 37th with a 131.

Philomath finished fifth in the team standings with a score of 454. Salem Academy easily won the team title with a 319. Individually, Salem Academy’s Ellie Gladow finished first with a 73, four strokes ahead of teammate Chloe Johnston.

Philomath’s next meet is scheduled for April 20 at Santiam Golf Club in Aumsville with a noon start time.
