VOLUME 7, NUMBER 91
Thursday, April 23, 2026
Good morning, Philomath.
Marys River Grange will host its annual Plant Sale and Seed Swap on Saturday. The Philomath School Board delayed a decision on the 2027-28 academic calendar. Philomath forestry students won five events at a statewide competition. The latest BCSO Log includes a DUII crash and ankle monitor tampering arrest. In sports, Stayton outlasted Philomath in a competitive softball game — package includes gallery by Andy Cripe. Marist topped Philomath in boys tennis (results were not available before deadline for girls tennis; baseball at Sweet Home was postponed to Friday). In partner content, we have stories on laws related to urban growth boundaries and housing, and license plate camera data. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
