Good morning, Philomath.

The very popular Philomath Fire and Rescue and Strengthening Rural Families Open House and Health Fair is coming Saturday. The PHS boys soccer team had a fun afternoon against its coach’s former team. Coverage included a gallery. Meanwhile on the road, the girls soccer team won in a rout. The Warriors volleyball team was also in action at Central. The latest Mount Union Stories installment is online — a weekly feature sponsored by Mount Union Cemetery Association. Among our partner content offerings is Oregon Capital Chronicle’s look at competitive legislative races. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
