Philomath High’s girls soccer team spread the scoring around Tuesday night with goals from eight different players in a 9-0 Oregon West Conference win at Central.

The game ended at halftime under the mercy rule.

Freshman Lilly Ellis got the Warriors started early, scoring in the second minute off an assist from junior Bella Nuñez and then adding a second goal three minutes later on a feed from senior Angelica Morales-Marquez.

Junior Bethany Cannon made it 3-0 in the seventh minute with an assist from junior Kya Bolton. Nuñez scored unassisted in the 16th minute and Bolton followed a minute later on a pass from freshman Sienna Smith.
