VOLUME 6, NUMBER 210
Wednesday, October 8, 2025

Good morning, Philomath.

A fun event is coming Saturday to Philomath Fire and Rescue and we have a preview story. The girls soccer team pulled out a 3-2 win over North Marion for first place in the conference. The volleyball team took care of business at Newport while the boys soccer team lost a tough one at North Marion. Plus, we have the latest in the Mount Union Stories series and a preview of a Thursday evening School Board meeting.

For those who may be looking for a story out of last night’s School Board hearing, I haven’t had time to write it yet but anticipate getting that online later today. In short, Erin Gudge stepped down as board chair and the School Board passed a censure resolution, which is a form of public reprimand. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
