FRIDAY, SEPT. 26

• 9:25 a.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of a fire alarm in the 2100 block of Applegate Street.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 12:33 a.m. (North 12th Street) and 10:09 p.m. (Main Street).

SATURDAY, SEPT. 27

• 3:05 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to provide mutual aid to the Corvallis Fire Department at the scene of a large grass fire in the area of Northeast Granger Avenue and Northeast Pettibone Drive.

• 3:47 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to the 200 block of Northwest 14th Street in Corvallis for a report of a pressurized gas leak. The crew assisted Corvallis Fire at the scene.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 1:47 p.m. (Applegate Street) and 5:41 p.m. (Newton Street).

SUNDAY, SEPT. 28

• 5:34 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to provide mutual aid to the Oregon Department of Forestry at the scene of a wildland fire near Highway 34 and Decker Road. Upon arrival, firefighters found a fire of approximately 5 acres at the site of a logging operation. The fire was moving uphill and away from structures. Philomath, Corvallis and Monroe firefighters worked at the scene until ODF was able to get engines and hand crews to the scene. Philomath also provided support with a drone. The final size of the fire was reported to be 4.69 acres. See separate story.

MONDAY, SEPT. 29

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 8:45 a.m. (Highway 34), 8:54 a.m. (South 20th Street), 4:43 p.m. (Melvill Cres), 5:16 p.m. (Rosecrest Drive) and 6:52 p.m. (Houser Lane).

TUESDAY, SEPT. 30

• No calls were reported.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 1

• 7:22 a.m. — Firefighters responded to the activation of a fire alarm in the 2000 block of Applegate Street.

• 12:08 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to Corvallis Fire Station No. 2 on Southwest 35th Street to provide backup while the Corvallis Fire Department was responding to a structure fire. No incidents were reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 12:22 a.m. (Rosecrest Drive).

THURSDAY, OCT. 2
