Thursday, October 1, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

A new community art space at City Hall will be unveiled Friday at a special event that runs from 6-8 p.m. A regional digital forensics lab for Linn-Benton law enforcement is operating at OSU. The latest BCSO Log includes entries on deer collisions, a fraud case and hit-and-run and a trespassing incident. The Oregon Health Authority speaks out on virus season and measles. Siuslaw National Forest will begin issuing firewood permits on Oct. 15. And we have the latest installment in the Mount Union Stories series. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
