FRIDAY, SEPT. 18
• 1:30 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm activation in the 30000 block of Bellfountain Road.
Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 5:51 a.m. (South Ninth Street), 5:58 p.m. (South 19th Street) and 8:54 p.m. (Lowther Place).
SATURDAY, SEPT. 19
• 11:56 a.m. — Emergency medical services personnel were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the 36000 block of Lilly Hill Road, responding with four crew members in an engine and a command vehicle. Upon arrival, crews found a single vehicle off the road. Philomath Fire and Rescue assisted the Blodgett Rural Fire Protection District with patient care.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 20
• 1:24 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a power pole fire in the 23000 block of Highway 20, responding with five personnel in an engine and a command vehicle. Upon arrival, crews met the homeowner at the bottom of the driveway. The homeowner said they had come outside after hearing a loud noise and found a tree burning. Crews investigated the area, found a smoldering tree, evaluated additional risk to the area and contacted the power company.

MONDAY, SEPT. 21

WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 23
• 7:23 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a power pole fire in the 23000 block of Decker Road, responding with five personnel in an engine and a command vehicle. Upon arrival, crews found branches from a pine tree in contact with power lines, with the lines arcing and burning the portion of the tree they were touching. The power company was notified. Because surrounding fuels were green and moist, the fire did not spread. The power company arrived and removed the material from the lines, and firefighters confirmed the fire was out.
• 7:13 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire in the 700 block of Southwest 10th Street in Corvallis, responding with five personnel in an engine and a command vehicle. The crew was canceled en route and returned to Philomath.
