VOLUME 7, NUMBER 203
Tuesday, September 15, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

One of the most popular events in town each year is the Public Safety Chili Cook-off and we had a reporter there to provide coverage. The Philomath Police Log includes items related to fraud and shoplifting. Philomath Fire and Rescue had a quiet week compared to what is usually seen. An upcoming fundraiser hopes to help ease Harriet Hughes toward retirement. The Philomath City Council filled a vacant seat on the Planning Commission. We have a death notice for Philomath resident Nephi Patton. The Philomath High volleyball team played in a tournament on Saturday. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
