VOLUME 7, NUMBER 131
Friday, June 12, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

At age 16, Philomath resident Jordan Yaich was diagnosed with cancer. On Saturday, he’ll earn his first degree from Oregon State University. The city’s Budget Review Committee worked Wednesday evening to make cuts in the budget to try to lessen the load on residents through a city services fee. Strengthening Rural Families is hosting Playdates in the Park this summer. We have the latest OSU Log. Rotary will host a program open to al about scam and fraud prevention. A free mattress recycling event is happening at the fairgrounds this weekend. The Planning Commission will meet on Monday.

Note to readers: There will be no newsletters on Saturday or Sunday (I’m on vacation). I’m planning to send out editions Tuesday through Friday next week. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
