Families with children of any age are invited to spend Tuesday mornings this summer at Philomath City Park as part of a free outdoor gathering series organized by Strengthening Rural Families.

Playdate in the Park runs Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. beginning June 16 and continuing through Aug. 18.

The event provides an informal opportunity for community connection during the summer months.

Strengthening Rural Families is a Benton and Linn County-based nonprofit that promotes health and well-being in rural communities through education, advocacy, coalition building and community connections. The organization, established in 2005, operates programs in Philomath, Alsea, Monroe, Santiam Canyon and surrounding areas.
