MONDAY, MAY 11

• 10:14 a.m. — BCSO responded to a vehicle collision with a deer at the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 34. A dealership vehicle being driven by an employee, a 60-year-old Albany man, sustained minor damage. No injuries were reported.

SATURDAY, MAY 16

• 2:42 p.m. — BCSO responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 34 at Decker Road in which one driver, a 41-year-old Waldport woman, was distracted after dropping a bottle and struck a second vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Eugene woman that had slowed to turn. One vehicle came to rest against a roadside fence. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 27

• 6:09 p.m. — BCSO took a report from a Philomath resident who said a locking mailbox, valued at $280, was stolen from the end of their driveway on Cardwell Hill Drive. A horse fly mask possibly stored inside was also reported missing.

MONDAY, JUNE 1

• 1:45 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 32-year-old Philomath woman on warrants for a probation violation on a second-degree burglary charge and failure to appear on a child neglect charge after deputies tracked her ankle monitor to a Highway 34 address. The woman was lodged at Benton County Jail.

• 8:43 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 52-year-old Philomath man in the 600 block of Main Street on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. The man was cited and released with a court date.

TUESDAY, JUNE 2

• 7:56 p.m. — BCSO arrested a 45-year-old Corvallis man on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for driving under the influence of intoxicants while making contact on Highway 20 near Lilly Hill Road. The man was cited and released.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3

• 2:54 p.m. — BCSO responded to a dog bite report on Gellatly Way near Highway 34 in Philomath. The dog was placed on a 10-day bite quarantine at Heartland Humane Society.

FRIDAY, JUNE 5

• 7:28 p.m. — BCSO conducted a traffic stop on Main Street near North Seventh Street in Philomath for an obscured license plate. The driver, a 48-year-old Foster man, was cited for driving while suspended. A passenger, a 52-year-old Sweet Home woman, was cited and released on a Lebanon Municipal Court warrant for a probation violation.
