VOLUME 7, NUMBER 122
Tuesday, June 2, 2026
Good morning, Philomath.
Philomath High’s track and field teams were in action this past weekend at Hayward Field and we have full coverage with stories and galleries. The boys brought home a fourth-place trophy and the girls had three individual wins. The Philomath Police Log updates you on local law enforcement and Philomath Fire and Rescue Calls provides a rundown of recent responses. The Park Advisory Board plans to meet this afternoon, the Rotary Club welcomes the community to its meetings and the Philomath 2050 visioning project survey is still available, apparently until June 4, according to the city’s newsletter. We have letters to the editor from Paula May about the senior all-night party and Chancy Ferguson about the fire district levy passing. In partner content, we have a story about a petition to ban hunting and fishing in Oregon that could be on the November ballot. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
