The Philomath 2050 long-range visioning project is accepting public input as organizers say the engagement process is approaching its midpoint.
The project, designed to develop a 25-year roadmap for the city’s future, has included stakeholder interviews, an online survey and organizational outreach. According to the organizers, topics that have surfaced so far include recreation facilities, library services, youth and senior programs, housing, trails and parks, and preserving Philomath’s small-town character.
Residents can complete an online survey at Philomath2050.org. The project website also notes that in-person community events are planned, though no dates have been announced.
