FRIDAY, MAY 22
• 4:39 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an adult male who crashed on an electric scooter at Philomath City Park. The man was transported with injuries to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.
• 8:44 p.m. — Police arrested a 39-year-old Blodgett woman on a warrant for failure to appear in court. The woman was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
• 11:17 p.m. — Police arrested a 47-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .08 through .14) in the 2600 block of Main Street. The man was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
• 11:50 p.m. — Philomath arrested a 36-year-old Philomath woman on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants at Newton Street and James Street. The woman was transported to Benton County Jail.
Other calls: Police responses included a noncriminal issue at 12:49 a.m. (Main Street) and a report of a possible drunk driver at 10:27 a.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 3:47 p.m. (North 19th Street). PPD reported 13 traffic stops.
SATURDAY, MAY 23
• 4:07 a.m. — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at Main Street and North 10th Street. No injuries were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included citizen assistance with a stalking order at 11:05 a.m. (South 15th Street), parking complaint at 12:33 p.m. (North Ninth Street and College Street), found dog at 12:38 p.m. (Main Street) and a lost property issue at 8:31 p.m. (location not reported). PPD reported 21 traffic stops.
SUNDAY, MAY 24
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a dog at large at 6:06 a.m. (Highway 34 and Stovall Lane), citizen assistance at 11:14 a.m. (Applegate Street), animal complaint at 5:17 p.m. (South 19th Street and Ash Street) and trespassing at 7:36 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported 23 traffic stops.
MONDAY, MAY 25
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included an animal complaint at 12:07 p.m. (North Ninth Street and Quail Glenn Drive), citizen contact at 12:31 p.m. (North 17th Street), citizen assistance with applying for a stalking protection order at 3:43 p.m. (Main Street) and a dog barking at 9:33 p.m. (North 12th Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 6:20 p.m. (South 16th Street). PPD reported 16 traffic stops.
TUESDAY, MAY 26
• 7:27 a.m. — Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 500 block of South 15th Street involving a resident whose car was damaged prior to 5:50 a.m. while parked on the street in front of his house. The damage to a windshield was estimated at $500.
• 5:01 p.m. — Police responded to an injured cat that was hit by a vehicle at Main Street and 20th Street. The cat was taken to a veterinarian clinic in Philomath to be humanely euthanized.
Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 2:23 p.m. (North 15th Street) and a noise disturbance at 10:04 p.m. (North Ninth Street and College Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 27
• 4:44 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a man trespassing on property in the 3000 block of Main Street. The man was found and trespassed from the location.
Other calls: Police responses included a report of suspicious people at 7:51 a.m. (Newton Street) and citizen contact at 3:22 p.m. (Applegate Street and South 24th Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
THURSDAY, MAY 28
• 12:08 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a possible burglary in the 200 block of North 14th Street involving a resident who was accusing a housemate of entering their room and stealing medication.
Other calls: Police responses included a parking complaint at 6:33 a.m. (Melvill Cres), event detail at 8:30 a.m. (Main Street), city ordinance violation at 12:43 p.m. (Applegate Street) and suspicious people at 2:05 p.m. (South 11th Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
