Philomath Police along with Corvallis and Benton County performed a crosswalk enforcement operation on Wednesday. Benton County plans to host a town hall next week to answer questions about the election. The boys soccer team hosted unbeaten Cascade yesterday — coverage includes a photo gallery. The girls soccer team won in dramatic fashion with a late header. The girls cross-country team pulled off an impressive performance at a meet in McMinnville. Cascade on its home court downed Philomath in girls volleyball. In business news, Pioneer Connect announced new internet pricing. A mattress recycling event is coming Saturday to the fairgrounds.
