Mattress Recycling Event at Benton County Fairgrounds
Saturday, October 3 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Residents can recycle mattresses and box springs for free, thanks to an Oregon state law and the Mattress Recycling Council’s Bye Bye Mattress program.
This event is for Benton County residents only. The collection event will be held in the fairgrounds’ south parking lot — enter from Reservoir Ave.
The Mattress Recycling Council (MRC) is a nonprofit that operates recycling programs in Oregon and other states that have passed mattress recycling laws. MRC was founded by the bedding industry and recycles nearly 2 million mattresses each year.
Additional mattress recycling events and sites are available around Oregon. Residents can search for a location near them at ByeByeMattress.com.
