The Philomath Rotary Club will hold a club assembly meeting at noon Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church with routine business on the agenda alongside a guest presentation.

Members plan to finalize scheduling for the installation of peace poles at Philomath schools with specific sites still to be determined. A peace pole will be installed Oct. 16 at Philomath Community Services. The club is also looking to add two to three more sites through outreach to other local businesses and organizations.

The assembly will cover Rotary-sponsored programs, awards and fundraisers involving Philomath students, as well as ongoing conversations about how the club can engage with city and county officials.

Following the club business, Don Rogers will share his experiences as a Rotary Youth Exchange student. Rogers had been scheduled to give the presentation last month but that meeting was canceled.

A board meeting will follow the general meeting at 1 p.m.

Lunch will be provided and organizers are asking attendees to RSVP by contacting any Philomath Rotarian to help with meal planning.

The meeting is open to Rotarians and members of the Philomath community.
