The Oregon Department of Education’s “English Learners in Oregon” annual report will be among the discussion topics at Thursday’s Philomath School Board meeting, which is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start at the school district office.
The report is intended to provide a summary of district and state progress toward meeting the needs and objectives of multilingual students.
Also on the agenda for the Aug. 22 meeting are votes on five policy updates, planning for upcoming work sessions, inservice week updates and various other points of business, including a report from the school superintendent.
The Philomath School District office is located at 1620 Applegate St., with access to the meeting through a door at the back of the building. Meetings are also streamed on the school district’s YouTube channel.
