A membrane filter purchasing discussion will be among the business items to be covered at Wednesday’s Public Works Committee meeting, according to the meeting agenda.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. at Philomath City Hall.

Pete Blumenthal of Westech Engineering, Steve Starner, retired public works director at Silverton, and Jeff Buskirk, public works director at Jefferson, are mentioned as participants in the discussion with committee members Ruth Causey, Matt Lehman and Christopher McMorran.

The committee anticipates a probable vote on a membrane filter supplier for an Aug. 1 meeting.

Also on the July 24 agenda, the committee is slated to discuss the city’s Main Street medians.

In addition to attending the meeting in person, it can also be viewed on the city’s YouTube channel.

The Tree Board Committee has no business scheduled for the meeting.
