The Philomath City Council plans to hold a public hearing, discuss and adopt the city’s fiscal year 2024-25 budget during its meeting Monday evening at Philomath City Hall. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The budget’s appropriations add up to $36.1 million and with total unappropriated and reserve amounts of $4.7 million, the total budget to be considered comes in at $40.8 million. Other budget business is also scheduled for the agenda, including the adoption of a fiscal year 2023-24 supplemental budget and a public hearing on proposed uses of state revenue sharing for 2024-25.
Prior to the official start of the City Council meeting, an Urban Renewal Agency meeting and public hearing on its fiscal year 2024-25 will take place.
Also on the agenda are an annual report presentation by the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments, a 20-year service recognition award to be presented to Chief of Police Dave Gurski, consideration of an inclusivity resolution and a College of Philomath Community Project update by Scott Ramsey.
