FRIDAY, JUNE 19
• 7:31 p.m. — Police arrested a 25-year-old Philomath man at Main Street and North 15th Street on three warrants out of Benton County Circuit Court.
• 8:53 p.m. — Police arrested a 38-year-old Corvallis woman in the 600 block of Main Street on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal trespass. The woman was cited and released.
Other calls: Police responses included a foot patrol at 7:42 p.m. (Main Street), drug recognition expert services at 9:48 p.m. (Spicer Road, Albany) and an abandoned vehicle at 10:29 p.m. (South 11th Street and Applegate Street). PPD reported 12 traffic stops.
SATURDAY, JUNE 20
• 10:51 a.m. — Police arrested a 38-year-old Corvallis woman in the 600 block of Main Street on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal trespass. The woman was cited and released.
Other calls: Police responses included a possible theft at 11:38 a.m. (Landmark Drive) and unsecured premises at 1:30 p.m. (Grant Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 11:51 p.m. (Main Street and North 12th Street). PPD reported 10 traffic stops.
SUNDAY, JUNE 21
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 6:04 p.m. (Melvill Cres) and barking dogs at 8:30 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported 14 traffic stops.
MONDAY, JUNE 22
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a barking dog at 1:38 p.m. (South 17th Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 6:10 p.m. (Pioneer Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.
TUESDAY, JUNE 23
• 10:40 p.m. — Police conducted a preliminary death investigation in the 1200 block of Pioneer Street.
Other calls: Police responses included a city ordinance violation at 10:58 a.m. (North Seventh Street), juvenile complaint at 1:18 p.m. (Main Street) and a child bit by a dog at 1:39 p.m. (South 15th Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 12:40 a.m. (North Eighth Street), 7:17 p.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis) and 9:11 p.m. (Chapel Drive and Bellfountain Drive). PPD reported one traffic stop.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24
• 9:28 a.m. — Police arrested a 36-year-old Philomath woman after she turned herself in at the police station on a warrant for failure to appear in court. The woman was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
• 3:27 p.m. — Police cited a 47-year-old Philomath man in the 300 block of Southwest Western Boulevard, Corvallis, for contempt of court related to keeping a dangerous dog. The incident is connected to a dog bite involving a child that occurred the previous day in Philomath. The officer also provided the man with a copy of the municipal code and a “Level 5 notice” regarding the dog.
Other calls: Police responses included a city ordinance violation at 9:46 a.m. (South Seventh Street), non-911 issue at 10:33 a.m. (South 13th Street), 911 hang-up call at 2:22 p.m. (South 13th Street) and a parking complaint at 3:01 p.m. (South 10th Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
THURSDAY, JUNE 25
• 12:18 p.m. — Police arrested a 15-year-old in the 100 block of South Eighth Street on a charge of shoplifting involving vape pens and alcohol stolen from a store. The report indicated that items taken had a value of several hundred dollars.
• 1:45 p.m. — Police arrested a 26-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop at Applegate Street and South Seventh Street. The man was cited and released.
Other calls: Police responses included an argument at 11:36 a.m. (Cedar Street), abandoned vehicle at 3:09 p.m. (South 21st Street), traffic hazard at 3:26 p.m. (South 19th Street and Maple Street) and a domestic disturbance at 11:13 p.m. (North Eighth Street). In addition, police assisted another agency at 5:40 p.m. (Stovall Lane). PPD reported one traffic stop.
