FRIDAY, JUNE 19

• 12:53 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm activation in the 2400 block of Applegate Street.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 12:14 p.m. (Main Street).

SATURDAY, JUNE 20

• No calls reported.

SUNDAY, JUNE 21

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 11:39 p.m. (Highway 34).

MONDAY, JUNE 22

• 5:15 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a smoke investigation near Fern Road and responded with six personnel in an engine, a small brush truck and a command vehicle. While responding, the Oregon Department of Forestry contacted the Philomath crew to inform them it had already responded to that location earlier and the source was a large slash pile. The Philomath crew confirmed it was the same incident. Others responding were canceled prior to arrival.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 11:57 p.m. (Bellfountain Road).

TUESDAY, JUNE 23

• 12:39 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire in the 500 block of North Eighth Street and responded with seven personnel in an engine and two command vehicles. Upon arrival, crews found a fire in a small shed involving the wall surrounding the chimney of a wood stove. Crews extinguished the fire before it could spread to the residence.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 2:59 a.m. (South 17th Street), 3:27 a.m. (Calderwood Drive), 9:52 a.m. (Dove Place), 10:49 a.m. (Lillian Drive) and 10:40 p.m. (Pioneer Street).

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 6:29 a.m. (Benton View Drive) and 10:58 p.m. (North Ninth Street).

THURSDAY, JUNE 25

• 9:14 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a small miscellaneous fire in the 1200 block of Main Street and responded with five personnel in an engine and a command vehicle. Upon arrival, crews found a small bark dust fire with a small bush partially involved. The fire had been extinguished by the property owner. The crew confirmed the area was cold to the touch and advised the property owner.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 11:39 a.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis) and 2:55 p.m. (North 12th Street).
