VOLUME 7, NUMBER 29
Wednesday, February 4, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

The Philomath boys couldn’t find the groove last night in a basketball game against Newport but a special moment occurred in the final minute. The girls were also in action and had no problems against the Cubs. The city has referred eight ballot measures for the May election. The school district’s Budget Committee plans to begin its work. We have a news item about a PHS graduate on a dean’s list. And the latest installment of Mount Union Stories is available. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
