VOLUME 7, NUMBER 230
Saturday, October 17, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

In this weekend’s Three Things column, I have segments on City Hall’s art, a moose encounter and flag football. A strike has led to limited hours at Philomath Community Library. I put together a News Tracker with updates on recent stories. The OSP Log includes a Highway 26 fatality that resulted in a manslaughter charge. Philomath Middle School’s Mike Panico has a letter to the editor. The Planning Commission will meet Monday with an agenda that includes the Newton Creek project in City Park. Plus items on LBCC’s economic impact and log brand renewals. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
