No Kings: Vote Early at Benton County Courthouse

Local Benton County organizers are hosting No Kings: Vote Early, part of a nationwide day of voter mobilization. The goal is to encourage people to vote early and turn out for the November midterm election. The event is described as nonpartisan, and all are welcome regardless of political affiliation.
Activities include a Boogie for Ballots Dance Party, sidewalk chalk art, an “I Voted Early!” photo booth, get-out-the-vote rock painting, bracelet making, a food drive and more. Attendees can also sign up for get-out-the-vote and election protection activities in the coming weeks.
Benton County election officials are urging voters to vote early and use the ballot drop box instead of the postal service. Ballots will be mailed to voters Oct. 14, and voters who receive them by Oct. 17 are encouraged to drop them in the ballot box at the courthouse during the event. Voters who haven’t received a ballot by Oct. 26 should contact the Benton County Elections Office at 541-766-6756.
Organizers say all No Kings events follow a shared commitment to nonviolence and community safety.
