The Philomath Rotary Club will hear a “State of the City” presentation from City Manager Chris Workman as part of a Tuesday meeting that will take place at Philomath City Hall. The Oct. 20 gathering is scheduled to begin at noon.

The meeting will open with introductions, routine business and club announcements, which include updates on the scheduling of new peace pole placements, planning for the club’s 25th annual Salmon and Jazz fundraiser and plans for Trunk or Treat.

The club will also present its Philomath Middle School Student of the Month award for October.

Workman’s presentation will follow as the meeting’s featured program.

The meeting is open to Rotarians and members of the Philomath community. Lunch will be provided and organizers are asking attendees to RSVP by contacting any Philomath Rotarian to help with meal planning.
