VOLUME 7, NUMBER 146
Wednesday, July 8, 2026
Good morning, Philomath.
The Philomath Classic Car Show is gearing up for its Saturday event at Philomath City Park and we have a preview. The City Council plans to consider an ordinance on Monday to formally establish the newly-named “police services fee.” The latest Mount Union Stories installment profiles a man who died in 1920. Partner content includes stories on transportation funding and an appeals court decision involving a fatal car crash victim. If you missed the story, Philomath Frolic and Rodeo activities get started tonight with the Home Run Derby followed by three days of various events and evening rodeo performances. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
