Good morning, Philomath.
In today’s newsletter, we have a report on the City Council’s need to approve “compensation packages” for themselves so they can have a slice a pizza at an open house. I wrote separate cross-country season preview stories for the PHS boys and girls and as expected, they should both be in the trophy hunt this fall. Plus, we have the latest BCSO Log and an obituary for Ethel Post, a Philomath native who lived to age 101. I had the privilege to interview her in 2023. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
