The Philomath Youth Activities Club is offering community members the chance to win vacation destinations while supporting local youth programs through its 18th annual Getaway Giveaway Raffle.
This year’s grand prize, donated by Vern and Gayle Woosley, is a weeklong stay at the Marival Emotions Resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. The all-inclusive resort, located 30 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta, offers amenities for all ages including multiple pools, bars, restaurants and beach access. PYAC will provide airfare for two winners with an allowance of up to $1,200, though winners will be responsible for resort fees.
The raffle features five total prizes with destinations throughout the coast and state. Winners will select their prizes in the order they are drawn and do not need to be present at the drawing to win.
Raffle tickets are available for $10 each or three for $25, but organizers warn interested buyers to act quickly as only 1,000 tickets will be sold. To purchase, call 541-929-4040, email pyac@peak.net or contact a board member. The drawing is scheduled for Oct. 20.
All proceeds from the raffle directly benefit PYAC’s youth programs in Philomath.
