VOLUME 6, NUMBER 171
Saturday, August 23, 2025
Good morning, Philomath.
For this weekend’s Three Things column, I wrote about concerns that citizens have been bringing to the Philomath School Board over the status of the school’s popular forestry program, plus items on Maxtivity and Softstar Shoes. The City Council might be taking action on an affordable housing project proposal at its next meeting. Oregon State Police reported 10 highway fatalities statewide over a 10-day period. Plus, an air quality advisory was issued, state park fees are going up and The Nettles will play at Sunday’s Music in the Park. And among today’s partner content is a feature story about an Indigenous camping trip on Mt. Hood. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
