Good afternoon. In the newsletter today: The Benton County Historical Society has gone solar in Philomath with the installation of panels on the collections center. As part of the setup, Philomath Museum is now running mostly on renewable energy. Also, U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden’s office announced that he will be stopping in Philomath for a town hall meeting on Aug. 8 at the high school. Plus, the latest Mount Union Stories item and news briefs on the sheriff’s office school supply drive and a local metalsmith’s jewelry that’s on display at OSU.
