The Philomath High School boys and girls soccer teams will host a youth soccer camp from Aug. 7-10 for students going into kindergarten through the eighth grade.

Each day’s activities will include instruction on skill development and team play concepts along with lots of challenges and games. The sessions will run each of those days from 9-11 a.m. at the PHS soccer fields located behind the middle school.

The cost will be $45 per player, $75 for two players or $100 for three or more players. A T-shirt is included in the cost. The camp serves as a fundraiser for the PHS boys and girls soccer programs and organizers said additional donations are always appreciated.

Required equipment for the camp includes shin guards, soccer cleats and a water bottle.

Registration will begin at 8:45 a.m. on the camp’s opening day of Monday, Aug. 7, at the soccer fields. The participation form, available at this link, includes a liability waiver and insurance section, and should be printed, filled out, signed by a parent/guardian and taken to registration.
