FRIDAY, JAN. 26

• 9:55 a.m. — Emergency medical personnel responded to a single-vehicle crash on Highway 20 near Mustang Lane less than a mile west of Philomath. The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis with non-life-threatening injuries. See separate story.

• 4:12 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a residential structure fire on Northwest 26th Street in Corvallis. The call was canceled en route.

SATURDAY, JAN. 27

• 8:44 a.m. — Emergency medical personnel responded to a report of a logging yarder off an embankment at Wild Rose Quarry east of Kings Valley Highway in Wren. Crews extricated the operator, who was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. See separate story.

• 2:28 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a car fire just off Highway 20 on Priest Road. The engine and front passenger compartments were fully involved. No injuries were reported. See separate story.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 31

• 3:45 p.m. — Emergency medical personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 20 and Summit Highway in Blodgett involving a logging truck and pickup that took the life of a 61-year-old Hubbard man and sent a 36-year-old Siletz man to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center with multiple injuries.
