FRIDAY, OCT. 25

• 10:42 a.m. — Emergency medical services personnel responded to a crash involving a logging truck and a passenger vehicle just south of the intersection of Bellfountain Road and Llewellyn Road. Both drivers were transported with serious injuries via Corvallis Fire ambulances to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. See separate story.

• 11:41 a.m. — Firefighters went on standby at BiMart in west Corvallis for the Corvallis Fire Department.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 9:11 a.m. (Richard Place), 9:48 a.m. (North 12th Street), 11:13 a.m. (North 16th Lane), 11:30 a.m. (College Street) and 11:20 p.m. (North 12th Street).

SATURDAY, OCT. 26

• 1:46 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a roadside fire on Peterson Road that had been set to clear brush and was unattended. Crews extinguished the fire and the duty officer made contact with the property owner, who had not filed a permit.

SUNDAY, OCT. 27

• 9:30 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a burning complaint at Evergreen Road and Fern Road.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 9:30 p.m. (South 30th Street) and 9:45 p.m. (North 12th Street).

MONDAY, OCT. 28

• 2:29 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded in a mutual aid capacity to Highway 20 and Clem Road.

• 4:02 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a gas leak at a laundromat on North 14th Street. The gas was shut off at the meter and NW Natural was dispatched to locate the source of the leak near gas dryers.

TUESDAY, OCT. 29

• 1:22 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm at First Baptist Church on South 26th Street.

• 3:52 p.m. — Firefighters went on standby at the Benton County Fairgrounds for the Corvallis Fire Department.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 2:11 a.m. (Woods Creek Road), 3:49 a.m. (Wooded Knolls Drive), 9:21 a.m. (South 23rd Street) and 2:04 p.m. (Daisy Drive).

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 30

• 3:05 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a single-vehicle crash on Decker Road when a vehicle hydroplaned on a rain-slicked road and landed in a ditch. No injuries were reported.

• 3:40 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 33000 block of Noon Road.

THURSDAY, OCT. 31

• 12:10 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm in the 33000 block of Noon Road.

• 12:55 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to an automated crash notification system dispatch in the 24000 block of Highway 20. No vehicle was located.
