DAILY REPORTS

FRIDAY, OCT. 25

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police assisted another agency on a call at 11:35 a.m. (College Street). PPD reported seven traffic stops.

SATURDAY, OCT. 26

• 1:08 a.m. — Police arrested a 55-year-old Philomath man near Main Street and North 12th Street on a warrant out of Benton County for two counts of failure to appear on driving-while-suspended charges.

• 2:01 a.m. — Police arrested a 41-year-old Albany man on a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to police while the man was illegally walking a bike on Main Street in the 24700 block. The man allegedly refused to identify himself and was transported to Benton County Jail, where he was fingerprinted to learn his identity. The man had a warrant issued against him out of Linn County and he was transferred to that jurisdiction. The man was also issued a citation for “improper position upon or improperly proceeding along highway” related to the act with the bicycle.

Other calls: Police responses included citizen contact at 1:45 a.m. (Main Street and North 10th Street) and a noise disturbance at 10:45 p.m. (North Seventh Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 11:11 p.m. (Heritage Hills Drive and North Ninth Street). PPD reported one traffic stop.

SUNDAY, OCT. 27

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a traffic hazard at 3:58 a.m. (Bellfountain Road and Airport Avenue), citizen assistance at 4:32 p.m. (Applegate Street) and a welfare check at 7:23 p.m. (North 15th Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.

MONDAY, OCT. 28

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included an animal complaint at 4:45 p.m. (Houser Lane) and a suspicious vehicle at 9:47 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported one traffic stop.

TUESDAY, OCT. 29

• 6:46 p.m. — Police responded to a domestic violence situation at a residence on North 14th Street that involved four individuals — a 31-year-old man, 26-year-old woman, 28-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. No arrests were made and the individuals involved were separated.

Other calls: Police responses included a suspicious person at 7:10 a.m. (Southwood Drive), suspicious vehicle at 11:22 a.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis) and menacing at 11:40 p.m. (North 14th Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 2:18 p.m. (Jeffery Place). PPD reported three traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 30

• 8:30 a.m. — Police responded to a report of theft in the 2300 block of Main Street involving a wood splitter that had been taken sometime within the past month.

• 8:53 a.m. — Police arrested a 41-year-old Philomath man in the 1800 block of College Street on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief for allegedly throwing rocks at a vehicle and causing damage. The man was also arrested on multiple warrants out of Albany Municipal Court and Hood River Circuit Court. He was cited and released in lieu of custody.  

Other calls: Police responses included a mental health situation at 7:29 a.m., welfare check at 2:44 p.m. (North 14th Street) and a suspicious person at 7:19 p.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 10:27 p.m. (Kings Valley Highway). PPD reported no traffic stops.

THURSDAY, OCT. 31

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a found dog at 12:54 p.m. (Quail Glenn Drive), event detail at 2:59 p.m. (Main Street) and a juvenile complaint at 7:52 p.m. (Southwood Drive). In addition, police assisted another agency at 12:55 p.m. (Highway 20). PPD reported six traffic stops.

FOLLOW-UP REPORTS

FRIDAY, OCT. 18

• 11:38 a.m. — Police during a welfare check situation provided a courtesy ride to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis for a woman who agreed to a mental health evaluation.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 23

• 12:06 p.m. — Police reported a case involving eluding in the 3200 block of West Hills Road. Police reported that a 29-year-old Corvallis man was arrested Oct. 31 on a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.
