FRIDAY, JULY 17
• 1:48 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a car fire in the 23000 block of Rexford Lane. The fire was fully extinguished within three minutes of arrival. For full details and a photo, see separate story.
• 10:22 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched for a mutual aid call to a structure fire in the 24000 block of Orchard Tract Road within Monroe Rural Fire Protection District’s coverage area. Crews responded with five personnel in an engine and a command vehicle but were canceled en route.
SATURDAY, JULY 18
• 6:58 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a stabbing in the 300 block of North 14th Street. One person responded in a command vehicle while the engine crew was committed to another call. Upon arrival, the fire chief provided additional personnel and assisted with transporting the patient to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. SUNDAY, JULY 19
• 12:13 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched for a mutual aid call to the Corvallis Fire Department staging at the Benton County Fairgrounds. Crews responded with five personnel in an engine and a command vehicle and remained at the fairgrounds until released by Corvallis Fire Department command.

MONDAY, JULY 20
• 11:48 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a fire alarm activation in the 600 block of South 19th Street.

TUESDAY, JULY 21
• 7:47 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched for a mutual aid call to assist the Corvallis Fire Department, which was responding to a fire, staging at SW 35th Street. Crews responded with four personnel in an engine and a command vehicle and remained at Station 2 until released by Corvallis Fire Department command.
• 10:27 a.m. — Firefighters responded to an odor investigation in the 200 block of South 16th Street.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 22
• 11:52 a.m. — Firefighters were dispatched to a tree fire in the 24000 block of Pleasant View Drive. Crews responded with six personnel in a brush truck, a water tender, a command vehicle and Oregon Department of Forestry. Upon arrival, crews found that lightning had struck a tree, sparking a fire within it and a small fire around its base.
• 5:35 p.m. — Firefighters were dispatched for a mutual aid call to assist the Corvallis Fire Department, which was responding to a fire in Linn County, staging at SW 35th Street. Crews responded with four personnel in an engine and a command vehicle and remained at Station 2 until released by Corvallis Fire Department command.
