A new outdoor fitness area is coming to Philomath City Park with hopes that it will be in place by next summer. The high school’s volleyball team has high hopes this season and we have a season preview. The omelet dinners are starting up again at the College church. This week’s Mount Union Stories features the tragic story of a husband and father lost in a mill accident. From our partner content, the transportation funding vote is being delayed and two legislators are seeking to ban law enforcement masking in Oregon. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
