People arrested or suspected of crimes are considered innocent until proven otherwise.
THURSDAY, AUG. 21
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a follow-up on a previous call (Vincent Street), trespassing (South 19th Street), found dog (Applegate Street and South 15th Street) and a mental health situation. PPD reported one traffic stop.

FRIDAY, AUG. 22
• 12:54 a.m. — Police responded to a report of suspicious sounds outside of a residence on Fawn Lane. Upon investigation, the responding officer discovered the sounds to be raccoons scavenging for food. The raccoons fled the scene when approached and no damage was discovered.
• 4:32 p.m. — Police arrested a 47-year-old Corvallis woman at Pioneer Street and North 13th Street on a warrant for parole violation.
Other calls: Police responses included an event detail at 12:11 p.m. (South 19th Street), noncriminal issue at 3:46 p.m. (Main Street), abandoned vehicle at 6:31 p.m. (Newton Street and South 26th Street), event detail at 7:26 p.m. (South 13th Street) and a dog at large at 8:04 p.m. (South 19th Street). PPD reported one traffic stop.
SATURDAY, AUG. 23
• 1:31 p.m. — Police arrested a 27-year-old Corvallis man in the 1600 block of College Street on a charge of violating a restraining order.
Other calls: Police responses included dogs barking at 12:31 a.m. (Monroe Street), suspicious person at 1:37 a.m. (Main Street), dog barking at 3:11 a.m. (Monroe Street), welfare check at 9:47 a.m. (Pioneer Street), citizen contact at 10:37 a.m. (Main Street), lost property at 2:04 p.m. (address not reported) and a cellphone found at 6:52 p.m. (Philomath City Park). PPD reported 10 traffic stops.
SUNDAY, AUG. 24
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a suspicious vehicle at 2:24 a.m. (College Street), domestic disturbance at 7:58 a.m. (Southwood Drive), suspicious circumstance at 9 p.m. (Applegate Street), suspicious circumstance at 9:14 p.m. (Fawn Lane) and a verbal altercation at 11:39 p.m. (North 11th Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.
MONDAY, AUG. 25
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a traffic hazard at 3:43 a.m. (Main Street and North 19th Street) and a welfare check at 11:56 a.m. (South 17th Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.
TUESDAY, AUG. 26
• 8:02 a.m. — Police responded to a report of shoplifting from a business in the 1700 block of Main Street involving a suspect who reportedly took leather gloves and a dog collar valued at $50.
• 9:19 a.m. — Police arrested two brothers, both 35-year-old Corvallis men, at Philomath City Park on active warrants. One man was cited and released and the other transported to Benton County Jail for failure to appear in court.
• 11:07 a.m. — Police arrested a 32-year-old Corvallis man in the 1000 block of Applegate Street on a warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court. The man was cited in lieu of custody.
Other calls: Police responses included citizen assistance at 12:08 p.m. (North 16th Lane), city ordinance violation at 1:42 p.m. (South 26th Street), city ordinance violation at 4:47 p.m. (South 31st Street), vehicle in handicap zone at 8:18 p.m. (Main Street) and citizen contact at 9:20 p.m. (Philomath High School). PPD reported seven traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, AUG. 27
• 7:45 p.m. — Police responded to a report of fraud in the 600 block of South 16th Street involving a victim who was led to believe that an arrest warrant had been issued and a portion of the bond needed to be paid for it to be cleared.
Other calls: Police responses included a noise disturbance at 1:45 a.m. (Main Street) and a city ordinance violation at 9:08 a.m. (College Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 1:08 a.m. (Northwest Jackson Avenue, Corvallis). PPD reported two traffic stops.
THURSDAY, AUG. 28
• 7:26 a.m. — Police responded to a crash in the 2700 block of Main Street. No injuries were reported.
• 8:31 a.m. — Police arrested Travis Bradley Teague, 34, of Philomath, in the 400 block of North 12th Street on a felony charge of driving while suspended.
• 8:45 a.m. — Police arrested a 25-year-old Philomath woman on a warrant out of Philomath Municipal Court after she turned herself in. The woman was cited and released with a new court date.
Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 7:29 a.m. (South 13th Street), civil issue at 11:23 a.m. (Applegate Street) and a traffic hazard at 1:16 p.m. (Southwood Drive and South 30th Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
