The Philomath High School girls basketball team went to 8-0 with a 62-29 victory on the home floor Tuesday night over Woodburn.
Sage Kramer had 26 points by halftime and hit three 3-pointers in the third quarter to finish with 35 before she was pulled off the floor.
The Warriors will now turn their attention to what should be their biggest challenge of the season with a road game at Class 5A Corvallis on Thursday. The Spartans are currently 9-0 and will play at West Salem on Wednesday before going up against Philomath.
In the win over Woodburn, the Warriors built a 20-4 lead by the end of the first quarter and held a 41-13 advantage at halftime. Kramer scored 16 points alone in the second quarter.
Philomath beat Woodburn earlier this season by a similar score of 62-35.
No player had more than six points for the Bulldogs (2-5).
