The Philomath High School girls tennis team posted a Special District 2 victory Monday with a home victory over Molalla, 8-0.

The Warriors were dominant in the appearance, which was a makeup match from this past Thursday when the competition was rained out, with all victories coming in straight sets.

Senior Bailey Bell (6-0, 6-0), junior Adele Beckstead (6-0, 6-0), senior Megan Reese (6-3, 7-5) and senior Elise Reese (6-1, 6-1) were all winners in singles.

Doubles winners for PHS included senior Daniella Carlisle and senior Nadia Durski (6-3, 6-4), senior Lorelei Schell and sophomore Lucie Oster (6-2, 6-1), sophomore Logan Cook and sophomore Lucy King (6-3, 6-1) and sophomore Maggie King and freshman Clara Neville (6-1, 6-0).

The Warriors are scheduled to play at 4 p.m. Tuesday at North Marion.
